At Home

Norwich Pride At Home

Our vision at Norwich Pride has always been to “turn Norwich into a rainbow” and this year it’s  more important than ever that when we say Norwich we don’t just mean the city centre. Our dream is that you could walk down any street in any Norwich postcode and see rainbow flags. Why? Our mission is that we live in a city where everyone can feel safe and proud to be themselves. The rainbow flag is the international symbol of LGBT+ Pride and wherever you see it flying, you know you’re near to LGBT+ people or allies who want to signal to you that you are safe here.

This year we want the entire city to come out and show their rainbow colours. Pride at Home is an opportunity for you to rainbow up your houses, gardens, workplaces, pets, toys, children and celebrate living in our beautiful, diverse city. We can’t all be together for a mass gathering this year but we can still gather as the Pride family wherever we are. We are loving the stories we are hearing about people having their own Covid-safe  Pride parties and BBQs, children’s parades and rainbow cake sales, and planting their gardens so they are filled with a rainbow of flowers. Please upload your photos to social media and tag #NorwichPride and #PrideAtHome and we will be sharing them across Pride Week.

Buy all your flags and rainbow goodies from our Pride Pop-Up Shop at Chantry Place (formerly Chapelfield Shopping Centre) from Monday 26th – Saturday 31st July

Norwich Pride Colouring Book

We have been working with local LGBT+ artists and allies to create the Norwich Pride Colouring Book. There are 18 pictures you can colour in and put up in your windows to show your support for Norwich Pride. Download the book by clicking the button below or have a look at all the individual pictures in the gallery. Thanks to all the artists who shared their talents with us.

We are delighted to offer you the opportunity to have a colouring in picture of your family. Email the artist Rebecca Osborne at or message her on social media. If you’d like to make a donation to Norwich Pride to say thanks then you can do this via Local Giving: Rebecca also loves it if people pay in acts of kindness for others. We’d love to see how you colour in your pics. Please upload them to social media with the tags @NorwichPride #WeAreFamily #DrawnTogether
