We recognise that while visibility is important, it takes more to make our city a better place for LGBTQIA+ people to live and work.
It is mandatory for all advertisers, sponsors, and supporters to sign the Norwich Pride Pledge – a short statement outlining what it means to be an LGBTQIA+ friendly organisation:
As an Official Supporter of Norwich Pride, we pledge our business, organisation or group will be a safe, welcoming, and friendly place for LGBTQIA+ customers and staff.
We will visibly support and promote equality for LGBTQIA+ people, challenge homophobic and transphobic behaviour, and have clear reporting mechanisms for harassment and discrimination.
We will ensure our staff are trained to understand the experiences of LGBTQIA+ people and how to be a proactive ally.
We’d like to thank everyone who has signed up to our Pride Pledge, to show and act as an ally for the LGBTQIA+ community.
To become an ally to Norwich Pride simply email allies@norwichpride.org.uk to confirm you will uphold the Pride Pledge, and send us your logo. We will invoice you depending on the type of business, organisation or group you are representing, at the rates below –
Grassroots community group / very small charity – £50.00
Small charity / small business – £100.00
Not-for-profit / public sector / larger charity – £200.00
Large / corporate business – £500.00
All allies can download and display a copy of the Pride Pledge Poster and digital square. There are two versions at the bottom of this page; for businesses and for organisations.
