Norwich Pride’s most cherished Core Value is that the event should always be free to attend. We will never put a paywall between our community and their Pride.
To pay for the event we work with sponsors and allies who have signed the Pride Pledge, and we are very grateful when members of the community fundraise for us.
Another very important way we raise money is through grant applications.
This page is a dedicated space to thank the following granting bodies –
Norwich Freemen’s Charity awarded us £7,500 towards the core costs of the 2023 event.
Localgiving’s ‘Magic Little Grants’ awarded us £500 towards the cost of printing large print 2023 Pride Guides, for the visually impaired.
The Norfolk Community Foundations ‘Love Norfolk Fund’ awarded us £500 towards the cost of our 2023 volunteer’s training day.
And for 2024 –
We are immensely grateful to the Norfolk Community Foundation’s ‘Sheila Ann Day Fund’ for awarding us £5000 towards the main stage hire for 2024’s Pride event on the 27th July.
