11:00am – 12noon – The Gallery at The Forum
Feeling sad, hopeless and maybe even angry at the world right now? Come to Question Time for talks on themes of building community, solidarity on intersectional issues, and queer joy as an act of resistance.

Jane Pitchers (she/her)
Jane came out in 2023 but had always found herself questioning gender and has packed a lot into the following three years. She is very active in the trans community and is on the organising committee of Norwich Trans Pride.

Martin Lippiatt (he/him)
Martin is proud and passionate about LGBTQ+ rights. Through both voluntary work and his job, he strives to create compassionate and inclusive spaces for all LGBTQ+ staff and allies at UEA.
He is now in his 4th year as Co-Chair of the university’s LGBTQ+ Equality Network, which is growing, engaged, active and strong, and includes bringing supportive allies closer into our community.

Zana (they/them)
Zana is a Kurdish genderqueer multidisciplinary creative and community organiser. Among other creative projects, they co-run QTPOC social Simmer, founded Disappointment Magazine, are part of the team that brought Queerfest to Norwich over the last three years, and co-run DaDa Drag. On top of all that, they are also a member of the Norwich Trans Pride Committee.

Trish (they/them)
Trish is a queer multi-disciplinary creative of mixed cultural heritage and part of the team behind QTPOC social Simmer. Their socially engaged practice is informed by the world around them, exploring themes of identity, community, resistance and belonging.

This event will be hosted by Liv Castle (she/they), Norwich Pride’s Communications Lead. Keep an eye out for her zipping around the city throughout the day.
