Come listen to two Norwich artists discuss what they think you should hear about being trans, from actual trans people. Introducing this year’s speakers:
Dandy Darling (he/him)
Dandy Darling is the certified king of conceptual camp and a fantastical fever dream guy. Based in Norwich, he works as a drag king, artist, producer and co-organiser of community events. His signature drag style has taken him across the UK, internationally and to the finals of three of the country’s biggest drag competitions.
Jenny Knight (she/her)
Jenny founded ‘Poets in the Cellar’ in 2022, before moving into queer-centred poetry events like ‘Queers in the Chapel’ and ‘Trans Joy Norwich’. In 2025 she started the #ElectTheDolls campaign, working to get more trans representation on local councils through encouraging and supporting transsexual and transgender candidates.
Jenny has appeared on many panels speaking on trans liberation and the importance of fighting for equal access to healthcare for individuals who need it.
